Additional maintenance box
The ink included with the printer is used during the initial setup. To be able to offer the highest quality prints, the printer's ink level must be, and will be, at maximum. Once setup is complete, the remaining ink in the cartridges and the life of the maintenance box will be limited. However, we have added an additional maintenance box to make things easier for you. Even if ink levels are low or the maintenance box is reaching the end of its life, you will be able to continue printing until the printer shows replacement instructions. Even so, we recommend that you have spare ink cartridges available.
