Este revestimiento adhesivo se activa con la temperatura, por lo que durante el proceso de transferencia el papel se adhiere al material evitando que el papel impreso se deslice o mueva, ofreciendo una transferencia libre del efecto fantasma o sombra, es decir, evita que las imágenes se muestren movidas en el producto final, especialemente indicado en los productos textiles elásticos, si bien funciona perfectamente en accesorios, señalización y otros materiales rígidos.
