Description
Awagami Japanese Mitsumata White Double Layered Paper 95gsm
Awagami Mitsumata Double-Layered Japanese paper is an elegant, soft washi with a warm tone and a very subtle sheen. The top printable side is made of 100% Japanese Mitsumata fiber, while the backing layer (peel-off) of pulp is discarded after separation. How to use Mitsumata White Double Layered paper:
First, separate the layers from one corner and attach them to the middle of a tube or cylinder. Slowly roll the tube with paper across the sheet to gently separate the layers while rolling. After peeling, the printed sheet will be approximately 1/3 of its original thickness.
A very unique sheet is obtained, which is why this paper is typically used for fine art, backlit photography, sculptural prints, fine art reproduction, scrolls, and antique replicas.
