This printer has an optional roll unit so you can print on roll paper instead of just loose sheets. This accessory, the SC-P900 Roll Paper Unit, is also sold as a bundle with the printer and is occasionally on sale. It is very easy to use and allows you to make larger-format prints than on sheets or compositions.

Image precision and depth
The SC-P900 photographic printer was developed with excellent print quality as standard. With deeper, denser, and less grainy blacks, the UltraChrome Pro 10 ink, the new F10 printhead, and improved black coverage technology (BEO) ensure that black areas display more subtle details and textures. The blue color gamut allows for a more accurate reproduction of the image seen on screen.

Additional maintenance box
The ink included with the printer is used during the initial setup. To be able to offer prints of the highest quality, the printer's ink level must be, and will be, at maximum. Once setup is complete, the remaining ink in the cartridges and the lifespan of the maintenance box will be limited. However, we have added an additional maintenance box to make things easier for you. Even if the ink levels are low or the maintenance box's lifespan is coming to an end, you can continue printing until the printer displays replacement instructions. Even so, we recommend that you have replacement ink cartridges available.
