Sugar Cane paper is a new inkjet paper from the FineArt line based on a natural, rapidly renewable raw material: sugarcane. 70% of this FineArt inkjet paper is environmentally friendly as it consists of bagasse, a byproduct of sugarcane processing. The warm-toned, natural white Sugar Cane paper contains no optical brighteners. Its surface structure is particularly pronounced and stands out for its extraordinary tactile feel. Thanks to the premium matte inkjet coating, excellent print results are achieved with extraordinary color and detail reproduction, especially for warm tones and monochrome prints. Hahnemühle Sugar Cane is acid- and lignin-free and meets the most stringent requirements for aging resistance. The Hahnemühle Natural Line range consists of Bamboo, Hemp, Agave, and Sugar Cane papers; the Natural Line offers a collection of FineArt Inkjet papers based on non-traditional raw materials. The plants from which the cellulose for these four papers is obtained grow quickly and do not require the use of pesticides for cultivation. This accelerated growth allows them to provide more cellulose on the same planting area than other crops, in addition to requiring less water, which allows for better conservation of natural resources and contributes to environmental protection.
