The Natural Line range occupies a very special place within the Hahnemühle Digital FineArt Collection. With Bamboo, Hemp, and Agave papers, Natural Line offers a collection of FineArt Inkjet papers based on unconventional raw materials.
The plants from which the cellulose for these papers is obtained grow rapidly and do not require the use of pesticides for their cultivation. Thanks to their accelerated growth, they are able to provide more cellulose on the same planting surface than other crops, in addition to requiring less water than those. This allows for greater respect for natural resources and contributes to environmental protection.
The new FineArt Inkjet papers in the Natural Line range are a further step in Hahnemühle's commitment to increasing sustainability and being more careful with our resources. Within the framework of the Green Rooster initiative, this range promotes various projects for environmental protection at a regional and international level.

The 290 gsm Hahnemühle Hemp paper completes the Natural Line range; manufactured from one of the world's oldest and most versatile natural fibers, its raw material contains 60% hemp fiber. This FineArt Inkjet paper stands out for its natural color, a bright white achieved without the addition of optical brighteners, thanks to the natural color of the hemp fiber. The paper surface is lightly textured and has a soft, velvety feel. In combination with its premium matte inkjet coating, it makes for a highly versatile FineArt Inkjet paper. Colors and details are reproduced with great brilliance, blacks are impressive in their depth, and contrasts stand out exceptionally well. This FineArt Inkjet paper is acid- and lignin-free, thus meeting the most rigorous requirements for aging resistance. For centuries, hemp has been an important element in papermaking. Thanks to its highly resistant fibers, it is predestined for the manufacture of very durable papers, as evidenced by the Gutenberg Bible or the U.S. Declaration of Independence.
