Other features that facilitate self-maintenance: an easy-open lid, an interior light near the printhead, easy access to the anti-drying cap, and a dust cover that helps protect the printhead and paper.
Printhead and media dust covers reduce unnecessary reprint costs due to wasted copies. The SC-P20500 is extremely easy to use, featuring functions such as spindle-less loading and intuitive operation via a 4.3-inch touchscreen. It is perfectly designed for easy user maintenance.

The SC-P20500 is compatible with a broad suite of Epson software packages such as: Epson Edge Print PRO, Epson Media Installer, and easier connection with Epson Cloud Solution PORT.
The SC-P20500 achieves very high security with automatic encryption (format: AES-2560), in addition to very simple data archiving and control via the printer's touchscreen and/or Epson WebConfig software, while offering the option of a hard drive with a capacity of nearly 1 TB. The SC-P20500, which is EnergyStar v3.1 compliant, is manufactured more sustainably with 30% recycled plastic. The 1.6-liter ink bags further improve the product's environmental sustainability performance by reducing plastic use per liter by 90% compared to the use of cartridges.
The SC-P20500 is easy to install and set up and features advanced Epson software for high-volume production, eliminating the need to purchase additional licenses.
