Description
Description
This varnish has been specially designed for Hahnemühle canvases by Hahnemühle, increasing light resistance and making their surfaces more water-resistant. This quick-drying varnish is a ready-to-use product that can be easily applied with a foam roller.
Hahnemühle varnish is water-based, so it adds contrast to blacks and enhances the colors of pigmented and UltraChrome inks. It also protects colors from fading. The varnish will also protect your paintings against the appearance of cracks and mold in high-humidity environments. The varnish leaves only a transparent layer after application.
Hahnemühle varnish is available in three different finishes: matte, satin, and glossy.
