Gracias a esto, las cajas son apropiadas para la protección a largo plazo contra la luz, el polvo e las influencias atmosféricas de valiosas obras de arte y documentos. Están disponibles cuatro tamaños. La caja para formatos de hasta un tamaño DIN A4 está formada con un espesor de 1,6mm como onda E (microonda).
Para los demás tamaños de hasta un formato interior DIN A2, se utiliza cartón corrugado de la clasificación onda B (onda fina) con un espesor de 3mm. En todos los casos, la cubierta exterior es de color gris, la onda y la cubierta interior son de color blanco natural. Las cajas se entregan embaladas en 10 o 25 piezas ahorrando lugar. Se despliegan de modo rápido y sencillo.
