How to choose the ink set to use with the SC-F6400H printer?

The 6-color ink sets expand the F6400 printer's printing capabilities. They are Oeko-Tex ECO PASSPORT certified, and when applied to fabric and properly fixed, the garments are determined to be safe for adults, children, and babies. The ink packs are sealed and mess-free, with a capacity of 1.6 liters per color, sold in dual packs per color (2 x 1.6 liters).





The Epson SureColor SC-F6400H printer offers improved image quality, up to 30% faster print speeds than its predecessor, and simpler user operation. This 44-inch plotter has been designed to cover a wide range of production applications, from custom fabrics and apparel to high-quality personalized and decor products, as well as exceptional rigid and soft signage. Productivity has been increased through the use of practical 1.6-liter ink bags for printing on transfer paper (sublimation) via a heat press onto polyester-based or polyester-pretreated material.
The SureColor SC-F6400H printer is intended for medium-to-high production volumes, thanks to the combination of three technologies: a large 1.33-inch Epson printhead that prints with UltraChrome DS ink arranged in a high-capacity bulk ink tray system, and finally, advanced image processing using Precision Dot.
All these components work together to produce superior image quality with fine gradation, a wide color gamut, and high color density. This ink loading system allows for cost-effective production at speeds of up to 38.8 m²/h. The integrated automatic rotary cutter allows you to cut the paper roll to produce loose sheets and simplify operation with a flat heat press, while an Auto-Take-Up (ATU) allows for fast and efficient roll-to-roll production for operation with a calendar.

Epson Printhead: All-new printhead technology for high-performance printing, the 1.33-inch PrecisionCore Thin Film (TFP) which is 33% larger and has been specifically designed for use with Epson UltraChrome DS sublimation ink, allowing for superior, uniform colors at resolutions of up to 600 x 1200 dpi. It is a high-density head with a total of 3200 smaller nozzles that use variable-sized ink droplet technology to deliver high speed with extreme droplet placement accuracy for exceptional print quality. Finally, it implements Nozzle Verification Technology (NVT) that monitors nozzle status and automatically detects and adjusts printhead performance.

Superior flexibility: Supports rolls from 10' to 44' (1118 mm) wide and provides a range of print modes to suit different production and output requirements.
Excellent productivity: Supports fabric production with an output between 24.3 and 70.8 m²/h and hard surface production between 4.3 and 13.6 m²/h. Epson SureColor SC-F6400H roll-to-roll sublimation plotter

The SureColor F6400H is small and compact with a footprint of just 1.5 m². All consumables are loaded from the front, and it features spindle-less quick-mount roll media loading that can be managed by a single operator. It ships with a set of media adapters that support 2' or 3' core rolls in widths from 10' to 44'. Additional adapter sets can be purchased separately to facilitate quick swapping in environments where multiple materials and/or media sizes need to be used. The printer incorporates a high-speed rotary cutter for flatbed heat press operation. An optional auto-take-up is also available for fast and efficient roll-to-roll production and operation with a calendar-style heat press.
The Epson DS Fabric series has been designed for uniform, reliable, and cost-effective operation. The SC-F6400H sublimation printer features a new ink system that uses mess-free 1.6L ink bags. The bags are compact, easy to transport, easy to store, and produce minimal waste. They are easy to shake and quick to load. The printer has a bulk waste system with a reusable 2L tank that is easy to empty. It supports user self-maintenance with a simple head cleaning kit and a convenient hatch for accessing the head system. A large control panel operates via a touch interface and has built-in help. The SureColor F6400H sublimation printer works with a standard 240V power supply and can run with a moderately powered PC. The printer ships with Epson Edge Print PRO software, which enables the production of quality material with outstanding color, accuracy, and consistency. It is based on an advanced Adobe Postscript engine that supports source files in PS, EPS, PDF, TIFF, JPEG, and PNG formats. It provides basic functions like copy, place, crop, and nest, as well as advanced functions like tiling, step, and repeat.
